Welcome to the Sensitivity & Awareness training program!
SAILS has developed a sensitivity and awareness realization training package called STAR. The STAR program can be adapted for a variety of groups in helping them experience and understand what it is to have a disability, either physical, mental, cognitive, or sensory.
The STAR objectives are devised to suit the particular participant settings or goals. Instruction in the American with Disabilities Act of 1990 may be included.
